This home boasts a south facing backyard that is a gardener's delight. Several raised planting beds using the permaculture "hugelbed" concept for optimal plant growth.
Winter Garden / GreenHouse Addition!
A wonderful winter garden / greenhouse has been added to the property. Now you can enjoy working in the garden year round!
This "pit" greenhouse is attached to the back of the house and was built with energy saving in mind. Using the core earth temperatures in addition to a rocket mass heater, the below ground level greenhouse stays warm all year long. It is accessed thru the basement sauna room or via the door at ground level.
